Link was first published in 2002, as a magazine for improvement of local broadcasting, in 20 pages and in circulation of 1000 copies. It has evolved, since then, into a magazine for media professionals, published on 48 to 56 pages, with circulation varying between 1600 and 3000 copies. From the first issue until today the main editorial criterion is the applicability of texts in everyday media practice.
LINK reports about media events, media legislative, seminars and conferences, education and trainings, news from the non-governmental sector connected to media, news from media associations and possibilities of obtaining grants, researches about ratings, about media within the country, region, Europe and the world.
LINK also writes about new technologies, the appliance of new technologies, communication science, ethical issues in media, programming problems, possibilities for obtaining scholarship for tuitions fees or study journeys.
In regards to media market promotion, LINK brings text from the field of marketing and economy, supports programming exchange, co-production projects, informs about possibilities for programme placement in foreign markets, festivals, etc.
During past six years, LINK has gathered an excellent team of associates, which includes around 250 media professionals and experts, exceptional theoreticians in media and media problematic, as well as recognised media practitioners and active journalists, editors, people familiar with new technologies, computers, etc.
LINK is published monthly (with double issues in July and December) and distributed exclusively to subscribers.
Šta da radi novinar kada mu urednik zada da napravi intervju sa osobom od koje se gadi”. Nekako sam smatrala da je to jasno, jer pre nego li se pribegne drugim sredstvima, uvek postoji ono koje ubija sve bakterije načisto, a nije “WC Domestos”. To sredstvo je: Odbiti u startu, ako se gadite! Bez obzira kol’ko košta?! Bez obzira. Pa ipak, ako se pomerim od ove isključivosti, priznajem da je pitanje složenije, jer ako ne prihvatite vi neko drugi hoće, dok vama sleduje: višemesečno durenje urednika, odbijanje od plate, a ponegde i otkaz.
U bibliji, u deset zapovesti, s najvišeg mesta u vaseljeni preporučeno ljudima: Ne laži! – laganje je, u iznenada religijski probuđenoj Srbiji, postalo kao vazduh koji dišemo kao voda koju pijemo, kao hrana koju jedemo. Uronjeni smo. Skroz. Do grla. A kroz grla bez prestanka kulja k’o bujica i plavi hektar po hektar već natopljene teritorije koju zovemo otadžbinom. Ubeđena sam da će prerasti u simbol postslobističkog laganja ona najnovija ministarska kako mu novinari opšte s ovcama! Tipujem na tu vrstu (ne)odgovornosti i bahatosti prema javno izrečenoj reči.
Redakcija za istoriografiju Televizije Beograd se oslanja na ugledan i javno priznat višegodišnji rad istoimene redakcije osnovane 1976. i nasilno ukinute avgusta 1999, čiji je osnivač i urednik bio dr Miroslav Savićević. Redakciju je ponovo formirala Bojana Andrić oktobra 2001. i utemeljila delatnost koja se zasniva na pri¬kup¬lja¬nju, sis¬te¬matizaciji, arhiviranju i pla¬si¬ra¬nju građe (dokumenti, program, uređaji) iz istorije Televizije Beo¬grad i pripremu na osnivanju muzeja televizije. Pla¬si¬ranje se odnosi na javna izlaganja obrađenih delova iz navedene građe, zatim na elektronska (ciklus Trezor i Osma vrata, serija Vreme televizije) i štam¬¬pana izdanja (edicija Prilozi za istoriju TVB).
